Summary:
Find out how your challenge pages work. Learn how to build them easily and without any technical proficiency required. Add blocks such as text, article, gallery, landscape, map or awards blocks.
A page is composed of various blocks which can be assembled in succession, to rapidly obtain a high-quality web page without requiring any technical skills. Please see the 6 blocks available on the platform. Keep in mind that you do not need to use all the block, nor to arrange them in this particular order. Also, if you wish, you can use one specific block several times.
For each block, you will be asked to provide several and sometimes specific informations (e.g. a title, a background image, and some textual content). Please see below the different information required for each type of blocks. Keep in mind that filling out all the information is not mandatory. This block enables you to directly edit a block HTML code. This option is restricted to advanced administrators who master the platform and know how to use HTML codes. It allows the creation of blocks with no constraints. However, the content must be created with a responsive design, like all the other available blocks.
How to create my challenge pages
To create your pages, we recommend that you read the following three articles:
- Writing a brief for a challenge: this article is aimed at users with an Admin account on a platform. It will help you choose which content to add in your blocks.
- Image sizes for blocks: this article will give you the size options for all images. You can share this article with a web designer if you have called one in.
- Using the web page editor: this article is aimed at users with an Admin account on a platform. It will help you rearrange your blocks directly from the admin space of your challenge.
